We gave up (most - you're not taking my wine) sugar after watching Fed Up recently. They say the daily intake should be no more than 25g (6 tbsps). I discovered my savory tooth was going over that just about every day, despite my mostly healthy diet. I've never really been in to sweets, except for about 20 years of coffee loaded with sugar and cream (I went black 2 weeks ago and I'll never go back). Toss in the "healthy" processed snacks we were noshing and boom... 30-50g a day.
Anyhoo, I'm not at all here to preach. I just wanted to post a photo of some work-lunch ingredients balancing on each other. That got me thinking about how well I've been eating lately and, yada yada yada, blog post.
